Elevate Rapid City serves as a voice in the legislature for all of our member businesses and their employees, advocating for policies and business interests at all levels of local, state, and federal government.
We’re dedicated to building and fostering the kind of community that not only offers an outstanding quality of life for its residents but also instills a positive climate for businesses and economic development, and we’ll work diligently with government representatives to achieve those goals.

Legislative Scorecard
Infrastructure, schools, safety, and amenities all play a crucial role in creating a community people want to live in. Without sound public policy to support growth and improvement in these areas, a community cannot thrive. This is why Elevate maintains a full-time presence in Pierre advocating for the region’s business community.
Request For Support
We encourage our members to make us aware of issues that may affect local businesses. If you have an issue that you would like to bring forward for consideration by Elevate Rapid City please fill out the public policy request form and submit it to Garth Wadsworth. The form will then be given to the Public Policy Committee for review with final consideration by the Board of Directors.
